Neil Cox serves as a Senior Technology & Telecom Advisor to XMS Capital Partners. Since August 2010, Neil has also served as President and CEO of Repio, a unique platform that enables users to search, filter, organize and comment on their online links so they can take control of their online information and image.
A seasoned executive with more than 35 years of experience in information technology industries, Neil served as Executive Vice President of Qwest Communications responsible for Business Development, Product Development and IT prior to joining Repio. From 2004-2006, Neil was a Venture Partner at MK Capital, which invests in emerging technologies and application software. Neil served as Executive Vice President for the telecommunications sector at SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) – a Fortune 500 science, engineering and technology applications company.
Neil began his career as a telecommunications engineer and later moved to the Ameritech Corporation where he held a number of executive positions including President of both Ameritech Information Industry Services and SecurityLink from Ameritech. While at Ameritech, Neil was one of the inventors responsible for three patents that were designed around the notification of a data message on the Internet.
Neil has served on numerous boards and has supported several charitable and educational organizations and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University.
